Eschscholzia californica

Did you know ?  That tomorrow  April 6 is  California Poppy Day
The poppy official became the State flower in 1903 – I’ve been noticing this little flower quite a lot lately in my walks, it blooms from February to Sept.It is also known by its Spanish names: Ampola and Copa de Oro

So sprinkle those little speckle of gold !

Before the big rain comes! and you’ll sure to have your own field of poppies.
