A revolutionary service for job seekers…
The library now offers access to JobNow, a unique suite of resources for job seekers, including on-demand access to trained career experts who provide live, one-to-one interview coaching and resume assistance.
JobNow services include:
Live Interview Coaching– Job seekers get live interview practice from online job coaches.
Premium Resume Lab– Online resume/cover letter assistance from trained writing experts.
Job Resources– Users can draw from a carefully selected library of interview tips, resume templates, personality
and career assessments, and other valuable resources.
Adult Learning Center– Designed for adult learners, the Center offers test preparation (including the GED and the U.S. Citizenship Test), an expert writing lab, study & assessment tools, and a unique academic skills center featuring live, online tutors.

You can access all of these resources by checking out a laptop computer for use in the library.   The laptops have an extended checkout time of 4 hours and all you need is a library card and a picture ID.
The library was awarded this grant by the California State Library using Library and Technology Services Act funds.
