We have a new book at the Library called F in Exams: the very best totally wrong test answers. It looks really funny. A couple examples Biology-Q: In Hawaii there are approximately 500 species of fruit fly. Give a reason for this. A: There are approximately 500 varieties of fruit. Physics-Q: What does a transformer do? A: It can go from being a robot to a sports car in about 3 seconds. Business and Technology-Q: What is a computer virus? A: An STD, a systematically transmitted disease. Psychology-Q: What does the phrase “case study” mean? A: It is the process whereby you sit and stare at your suitcase before you go on a trip but not knowing what to pack. History and geography- Q: Name the smaller rivers that run into the Nile. A: The Juveniles. English-How does Romeo’s character develop throughout the play? A: It doesn’t. It’s just self, self, self all the way through. It looks like a very entertaining read. It is compiled by Richard Beason. I also just read a YA [Young Adult] book called Matched by Ally Condie, I liked it, and can recommend it. It is a futuristic novel where everyone’s lives are run by “the Society”. All for optimal living. People are “Matched” together for the optimal outcome. In this story Cassia thinks The Society has everything well in hand, especially when she is matched with Xander whom is already her best friend. But, things take another turn…You will just have to read it for yourself. I definitely recommend it, and yes, I am sure it will have a sequel.
