Is It September? It Must Be Time for a Book Sale!

The Friends of the Orland Library’s Semi-Annual Book Sale is coming up soon!  September 24-29 are the dates to remember. The Parish Hall at St. Dominic’s will be full to over-flowing with book, books, books!
But wait . . . There’s more!  The Friends are holding two mini book sales to get ready. Not sales of miniature books, but a little sampling of what is to come at the big book sale, sort of like an appetizer. These mini-sales will be held at the Farmer’s Market on the next two Saturdays: Sept. 15 and Sept. 22 from 9 to 12:30.
What a great deal!  Pick up a bargain book or two while you are shopping for healthy fruits and vegetables. A good Saturday morning just got better.
The Friends of the Orland Library have been working hard gathering, sorting, and boxing up all the books that will be for sale.  The book sales, which are held twice a year, are the major fund-raiser for the Friends.  Without the Friends, the Orland Free Library could not provide all the wonderful new books we get for you to read.  So thank a Friend, and join the Friends.
