“The sharp thorn often produces delicate roses”

It’s a new year , what do I do : Diet, Exercise.. No, but wait –
I think it time to prune my Roses! Well, I always do around this month. It’s not to difficult-even through it hard to make up your mind how far down to cut – First you just need the proper tools: Gloves, small pruning shears (ones made for cutting roses)
It’s  important to cut off old wood and keep the inside of the rose twig free, which isn’t easy to do – decision, decisions> It’s alway important to cut above a bud and cut in a slant.
Do you know whats even better than reading this blog,  to better understand the technique – is to check out a book on how to prune Roses, we have many informative books mostly located in the 635 section of the Library.
Quote of the Day:  “What’s in a Name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet” – Wm. Shakespeare
