Beginning July 7th, 2018 the Library will be open on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The City Council has responded to your requests and approved Saturday hours in the library budget for July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 that will allow the library to expand free access to books and materials, public computers and wifi, programs and events, and much more!
Continuing the Saturday hours past that date may be contingent on two things: usage and increased funding from the Glenn County Board of Supervisors. So if you’d like the library to continue offering the Saturday hours make sure to visit the library and check out items on Saturdays and contact your local supervisor (not sure who that is? find out here) and ask for increased funding for the library.
