The wonderful world of biographies.

It does seem that most people prefer a type of book or genre. I have gone through many phases. I always say I don’t care what type of a book it is, as long as it’s a good story. Well, I have come to think that one aspect [to me] that makes a story even better is that it’s true. Oh sure, I enjoy novels very much, but give me a true story that really happened, and it instantly piques my curiosity even more. That’s why I love biographies and memoirs. Of course, in the case of autobiographies they may be a little skewed. I have read many biographies in the course of my reading career, and they have seldom, if ever, been boring.  We have a veritable plethora of biographies and memoirs here.  From the obscure to the ridiculous. Many Hollywood stars, Presidents and various personalities. I guess it would be up to you to decide which is which.  By the way, please tell me the difference between a memoir and an autobiography. See you at the library!
