The Library may be closed on Wednesday but you can still have some fun! Head on over to Vinsonhaler Park for the 37th Annual Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The event page states:
Almost everyone that has grown up in Orland, California for the last 37 Years has attended the Old fashioned 4th of July Celebration at Vinsonhaler Park. The event is hosted by the Orland Historical and Cultural Society. There is plenty of food, games and activities for everyone in the community. If you are new to Orland, be sure to check out this fun event that will begin at 12:00 on July 4th.
I know my family has a good time. We particularly enjoy the decorated pet contest, the car show and getting a piece of pie from the Orland Historical & Cultural Society booth.
