If you’re looking for a unique way to show your Christmas spirit, consider giving a gift that can be opened again and again. This Christmas season the Library will give patrons a chance to “adopt” a book. Patrons choose a book from the available selection (on display at the library), and purchase it on behalf of the Library. A book plate with the patron’s name (or name of their choice) is placed in the book, and after it has been processed adopters can take the book home for the first read. We hope that this program will allow the Library to increase its collection with the help of our patrons. Tax receipts will be issued.
